Exabytes Digitalise Penang

Digitalise Penang is set up as Exabytes’ initiative to give back and provide for Malaysians. This is a CSR effort where Exabytes wants to nurture Malaysians to build their digital presence and eventually grow them digitally.

Digitalise Penang for Youth is our first Digitalise Penang campaign where Exabytes will sponsor up to 1000 youths who are currently studying computer science, web programming, web design or other related courses. The sponsorship will be in the form of our carefully selected products and services, amounting up to RM500,000. This will provide eligible youths of this field with their own domain name, and give them opportunity to have real-life hands-on experience in building their own website, managing hosting, website CMS, and even to the extend of crafting their very own codes on a VPS server, operating a development server to fine-tune their programming skills, and experiment programming languages.

These products and services offered in this programme have been carefully selected to provide these young talents an experience in the manner of what they’ll be faced with in the corporate world.

This exercise is made available and free of charge to eligible youths who are born and bred in Malaysia, studying computer science, web programming, web design or other related courses. It is an effort of Exabytes as a Penang born and bred company ourselves to develop and nurture Malaysians, and grow with us to greater heights digitally.
