Our annual event, AWEWE 2026, is here—and it did not disappoint! Yesterday, women entrepreneurs from across the region came together to hit pause in the constant hustle and discover smarter ways to grow their businesses.
Energy, Curiosity & Real Conversations: The AWEWE Experience
AWEWE | AI-Powered Leaders in Heels wasn’t just another event—it was a space filled with energy, curiosity, and real conversations. From the moment the room came alive, there was a shared intention: to rethink how we work, lead, and grow in a world that constantly demands more from us.
AI That Works for You: Smarter, Not Harder
This year, the spotlight was on using AI in ways that actually support our lives and businesses. Not just as a trend, but as a tool to help us simplify, streamline, and create more space for what truly matters. The conversations weren’t about doing more—they were about doing better.
Speakers Who Inspire & Empower
One of the biggest highlights of the day was hearing from our incredible speakers, who brought both inspiration and practicality to the stage.

Dr Lee Mei Sin: Breaking Into AI with Confidence
Dr Lee Mei Sin, GenAI Specialist and passionate advocate for women in tech, brought a fresh and accessible take on artificial intelligence through her session, Breaking Into AI: What It Is and How to Get Started. She broke down complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts—showing that AI isn’t reserved for tech experts. With a clear roadmap of Explore → Practise → Build → Keep Learning, she empowered attendees to take their first (or next) step into the AI space with confidence.

Kim Lim: Resilience & Purpose in a Changing World
Kim Lim, Head of Partnerships at The Asian Woman (TAW) and President of the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA), delivered a powerful session on Reinventing Life: Resilience, Purpose & Work-Life Alignment in a Changing World. Her story and insights struck a deep chord, especially her perspective that resilience is not just about bouncing back—but about moving forward with clarity and purpose. She shared how life’s disruptions can become powerful starting points for reinvention, and how aligning work with personal values is key in today’s fast-changing world.

Honest Conversations & Genuine Connections
Beyond the stage, what truly made AWEWE 2026 special was the atmosphere. Honest conversations, shared experiences, and genuine connections filled the room. From discussions on burnout and boundaries to moments of inspiration and clarity, every interaction added to the experience in its own way.
These interactions reminded us that growth doesn’t always come from pushing harder. Sometimes, it comes from stepping back, rethinking, and choosing a smarter path forward.
And this is just the beginning.
Your Creativity, Your Keychain, Your AWEWE Memory
AWEWE 2026 wasn’t just about learning and connecting—it was also about creating memorable experiences! Guests stopped by our interactive booth to design their own personalized keychains, adding a unique, personal touch to take home. It was a simple yet meaningful way for attendees to express their creativity, capture the energy of the day, and leave with a keepsake that truly reflected their AWEWE experience.
