There is something quietly powerful about pressing your hands into the soil, planting a seedling, and imagining the shade, colour, and beauty it will offer for years to come. On this day, more than 20 passionate Exabees did exactly that — rolling up their sleeves, getting their hands dirty, and digging deep into the ground to breathe new life into a community park behind SMK Raja Tun Uda in Bayan Lepas.
This was Exabytes Let’s Plant A Tree 2026 — a day filled with purpose, teamwork, laughter, and a shared love for the environment we all call home.

The mission was simple yet deeply meaningful: to beautify a community park and transform it into an attractive, comfortable, and welcoming leisure destination for the people of Bayan Lepas. Armed with gardening tools, boundless energy, and plenty of team spirit, our Exabees planted a vibrant variety of flowers and plants — all generously donated by Exabytes — to add colour, life, and natural charm to the space.
As the morning unfolded, what began as patches of bare earth slowly blossomed into a greener, more inviting park. Every seedling planted and every flower bed carefully arranged was a small act of care — not just for the environment, but for the families, children, and neighbours who will one day stroll through, rest beneath the trees, and enjoy the beauty of nature right in their own neighbourhood.
There was mud on our hands and warmth in our hearts. Colleagues who normally collaborate behind screens found themselves side by side in the open air, sharing shovels, swapping stories, and cheering each other on. It was a powerful reminder that the best teamwork often happens far beyond the office walls
Why We Plant
Trees and green spaces do so much more than beautify a neighbourhood. They cool our surroundings, clean the air we breathe, provide shelter for birds and pollinators, and offer a calming sanctuary for people seeking a moment of peace. In a rapidly developing area like Bayan Lepas, these pockets of green are precious — small but mighty contributions to a healthier, more balanced ecosystem.
By planting today, we are investing in tomorrow. The seedlings we nestled into the earth will grow tall over the years, offering shade to children at play, a resting spot for the elderly, and a vibrant backdrop for community life to flourish.

The park behind SMK Raja Tun Uda now stands a little greener, a little brighter, and a lot more welcoming, thanks to the collective effort of people who genuinely care.
