On 17 April 2025, the energy was electric at the Tesla Experience Centre in Cyberjaya—and not just because of the sleek vehicles on display.

It was the grand finale of Exabytes’ most ambitious campaign to date: “It’s Electrifying, WIN A TESLA,” a national initiative aimed at empowering Malaysian businesses to embrace digitalisation through domain ownership and online visibility.

In partnership with MYNIC Berhad, the official .MY domain registry under the Ministry of Digital, Exabytes brought together digital entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and SMEs to celebrate a shared mission: to GROW Digital.

From Domains to Digital Transformation: A Campaign With Purpose

Running from April to December 2024, the campaign was more than just a lucky draw—it was a movement. Its goal: to encourage Malaysian SMEs to future-proof their businesses by securing local domain names like .MY and .COM.MY, and pairing them with digital tools such as web hosting, email, and business applications.

With over 11,258 participants, the campaign reflected a rising demand for credible digital presence among SMEs. Eligible participants earned entries by subscribing to a 5-year domain plan or purchasing/renewing Exabytes’ digital services.

The overwhelming response proved what we’ve always believed: owning a local domain is the first step toward serious digital success.

A loyal Exabytes customer for 15 years and proud owner of 7 .MY domain names, Mr. Zaidi represents the spirit of innovation and resilience that the campaign aimed to uplift.
