For example, you can quickly translate content or obtain clear and concise summaries of content in a cell.
How to Use the Smart Toolbar?
In the grid view of the table, click a cell of a text field, and the smart toolbar will appear.
Click the Fill icon, and the AI will automatically generate content based on the information of the record to which the cell belongs.
Hover over the Polish icon and select Improve Writing, Fix Grammar, Make Longer, or Make Shorter as needed to use the AI to optimize the content in the cell.
Hover over the Translate icon and select a language to translate the content in the cell.
Translations into 12 target languages are supported, including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Portuguese, Bangla, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and German.
- Click the ··· icon > Summarize to use the AI to summarize the content of the cell and provide insights based on the record to which the cell belongs and the information in the table.
- Click the ··· icon > Extract Info to use AI to extract key information from the content in the cell.
- Click the ··· icon > Smart Tags to use AI to generate tags based on all the content of the record to which the cell belongs.
- Click the ··· icon > Quick Ask, and enter questions or instructions. The AI will generate answers based on all the information of the record to which the cell belongs.
You can replace or insert the content generated by the AI into the cell. You can also copy, regenerate, like, or dislike the AI-generated content as needed.
You can also enter questions or instructions again in the dialog box to generate new content based on the content in the cell.
