Proudly sponsored by Exabytes, Hour of Code 2014 was successfully held at Krystal Point, Penang on the 23 March 2014 with the objective to provide assistance to the attendees, mostly children in learning simple computer programming for their daily life.

Check out the agenda of the event:

We are glad that Event admission was FREE. Hour of Code 2014 was best suited for members of the public from the ages of 6 to 99+ (1st, 2nd & 3rd slot). Those who were between the ages of 11 to 99+ were placed in the 4th slot.

Held from 9.00am to 4.30pm, a total of four slots were conducted on that day, with an allocation of around 20 attendees for each slot, who consisted of children, parents and grandparents, each trying out their hands on computer programming and learning from each other.

At around 4.30pm, Hour of Code 2014 finally came to a perfect wrap! We at Exabytes certainly look forward to bringing more events that give more exposure to computer programming in the country!
