YongMama had no idea that their prawn muruku had such enormous potential. Starting with just one small red-cap container filled with prawn muruku, Yong Mama has expanded their business to sell prawn muruku all over the world, including in Singapore, Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, and other countries.

The Beginning

In 1999, as Madam Chua Siew Yong was making the rounds in her neighbourhood selling homemade cookies and pastries, she came across some yummylicious prawn chips.

This was the beginning of the incredible journey that would lead to the establishment of Yong Mama as a successful business.
