Adding the Frequently-Used Tools widget is super easy!
This guide explains how to do it in simple steps.
What’s a Widget?
A widget is like a shortcut on your phone’s home screen.
It lets you open specific Lark features, like requesting Approvals, Clock In/Out or Scanning, with just one tap.
1. Intro
Add it in a Snap!
- Long-press your home screen, tap “+” or “Widgets,” find “Lark,” and add the widget.
- Pick your tools and go!
2. Steps
Add the Widget
Android
- On the home screen, touch and hold an empty area.
2. Tap the corresponding button to add widgets, then find and add the Lark Frequently-used tools widget.
iOS
1. On the iPhone home screen, touch and hold an empty area until the apps jiggle.
2. Tap the + icon in the upper-left corner, then search and select Lark. Swipe left until you find the Frequently-used tools widget and tap Add Widget.
3. Tap Done in the upper-right corner.
Start Using the Widget
If you are not logged in to Lark, tapping the widget will redirect you to the login screen.
If you are already logged in to Lark, Search, Scan and Workplace will appear in the widget by default.
Add widget tools or adjust their order
Android
1. Tap the 此处是{{icon_setting_outlined}}icon Settings icon in the upper-right corner of the Lark frequently-used tools widget. Add the functions you need, or adjust the order of the tools.
2. Tap Save for the changes to take effect.
iOS
1. Touch and hold the widget, and then select Edit Widget.
2. Tap a displayed tool and then tap a new tool to display the new tool instead. You can also drag tools to adjust their order.
3. Tap anywhere outside the window to save your changes.
Remove widget tools
Android
Tap the ⚙️ Settings icon in the upper-right corner of the widget and tap the Remove icon to the left of a tool to remove it.
iOS
You cannot directly remove widget tools. However, you can change the tools that you see.
1. Touch and hold the widget, and then select Edit Widget.
2. Tap a displayed tool and then tap a new tool to display the new tool instead.
