Here are some exciting photos and recap of ECED 2015.

Let Digital Marketing Work For Your Business!
Digital Marketing – Exabytes Internet Marketing Summit 2015
The world is rapidly shifting from analogue to completely digital. Nowadays, people are consuming more and more digital content on a daily basis.
Studies show that over 80% of Malaysians are using the Internet for banking, leisure, shopping, booking, connecting with friends, and many more.
With the prevalence of mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets these days, the trend is set to escalate further as users can now go online anytime and anywhere.
That’s why we have this marketing summit for you, Exabytes Internet Marketing Summit 2015, where it gathers all the experts to share their knowledge and experience with you.
Does Your Business Have an Online Presence?
Therefore, it’s extremely important for any business to at least have a presence in the world of the Internet.
However, having only ‘a presence’ is not enough. A digital marketing strategy must be in place in order to ensure brand visibility, successful client acquisition, client retention, customer relationship, etc.
So does it mean that you will have to stop all the traditional marketing strategies, such as television and billboard advertising?
Justin, one of the speakers of EIMS, was certain that offline marketing still play an important role in helping to create awareness and curiosity.
When product or brand awareness is successfully created, your potential customers will be inclined to search your products or services, ONLINE!
Once they are done comparing (there is no denying that today’s consumers are very wise), they will make a purchase!
When your business has advertised on Google Search Network and it is easily found online, you must then identify the best keywords and content.
Francis, the highly regarded digital marketing guru mentioned this at the summit that having a good content doesn’t mean that you have to dump all the information onto your website.
In addition, if your business is purely online, you should definitely explore more on digital marketing strategies. You could also tap into the power of social media to encourage word of mouth recommendations.
Christopher Tock revealed that finding an influencer with quality followers is important. In other words, an individual who has a lot of followers may not bring quality leads for your business.
One need to first identify the objective of brand. Next, look for a suitable influencer to help to build awareness for your brand.
Christopher also brought along his new partner to share about Youtube marketing. He is Youtuber from Malaysia who has 9088 subscribers!
Lunch was served soon after Christopher’s sharing.
The first panel discussion began right after lunch; everyone was recharged and ready to start afresh. (images) What do you guys think about the discussion?
Wasn’t it great to have the chance to ask all the questions you have on your mind and let the experts give you the best guidance?
When it’s about online marketing, one should always go back to the basics — user experience. Eureka Fong of Piktochart told us that everything we plan must be well considered from users’ perspective.
Next, Pam Siow explained why most online marketers failed in their digital marketing campaigns.
According to Pam, digital marketing campaigns must be able to generate word of mouth, and this is the reason why most movies have successful campaigns.
Campaigns which are not able to generate word of mouth are usually one way product promotions which are weak in spreading the good word. She then supported her notions with some useful case studies
Facebook is no doubt the most popular choice among all the social media marketing tools as it has the highest number of users.
Josh Lim shared his experience in managing FB fan pages including creating engagement with the public. He also shared the right way to manage Facebook Ads.
The second session of panel discussion started after the sharing of Josh Lim.
All in all, it’s a great marketing summit and we hope that you learnt something useful and practical from the experts.
