Responsibilities

Make targeted cold calls to potential retailers to introduce Exabytes New Retail solutions.
Attend industry exhibitions, gather exhibitor lists, and identify potential leads for follow-up.
Perform client profiling to understand the specific needs and pain points of potential customers.
Present Exabytes New Retail solutions, highlighting how the CRM system can solve client pain points and boost sales.
Assist clients in understanding how Exabytes’ CRM system can help them increase their sales and improve efficiency.
Update CRM with daily activities, track leads, and ensure timely follow-ups with potential clients.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales activity reports, including cold calling and exhibition outcomes.
Work with marketing and product teams to align messaging with client needs identified during profiling.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and client needs to tailor sales pitches effectively.
Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of the CRM system.
Provide support to the sales team, sharing insights from cold calls and exhibitions to refine strategies.
Track personal performance against sales targets, making adjustments based on feedback from cold calls and profiling.
Contribute to sales planning sessions, offering insights from client profiling and cold calling activities.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.
Make decisions on daily sales activities, prioritizing tasks to maximize results, especially from exhibitions and cold calls.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Diploma holders with relevant experience may be considered.
1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in retail or B2B environments.
Experience with cold calling and lead generation.
Basic understanding of CRM systems and digital retail solutions.
Knowledge of the retail industry, particularly in physical products.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct effective cold calls and engage potential clients.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Basic data entry and report generation.
Ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with the retail industry, particularly businesses with physical products.
Awareness of current market trends.
Sales Certification (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Sandler Training) is a plus.
CRM software certification is a plus.
