The Campaign is organised by MYNIC Berhad (“MYNIC” or “the Organiser”), in collaboration with participating registrars, including Exabytes Network (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“Exabytes”). The Campaign features a seasonal promotion with prizes, including gold bars.
Terms & Conditions
1. The Buy & Win Gold campaign, using promo code “GOLD99”, applies exclusively to the registration of the following .MY domain extensions: .my, .com.my, .biz.my, .net.my, .org.my, and .name.my (“Eligible Domains”). Other domain extensions, including but not limited to .gov.my, .edu.my, .mil.my, and .coop.my, are excluded. Only participants who fully comply with these Campaign T&C and MYNIC’s Terms and Conditions as published at https://mynic.my/media/announcements/revup-register-campaign-30-1 (collectively, the “Applicable Terms”) are eligible to participate in the Campaign. Any participant who fails to comply with any of the Applicable Terms will be disqualified from the Campaign and will not be entitled to any prize.
2. The promotion ends on 14 May 2026. Exabytes reserves the right to extend the campaign period without prior notice.
3. The promotional price under the Campaign applies only to new 1-year registrations of the Eligible Domains. This promotion does not apply to domain renewals, domain transfers, or any other services, which will be charged at standard rates.
4. Participants under the age of 18 must obtain prior consent from a parent or legal guardian to participate in the Campaign or claim any prize. The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of such consent at any time and may withhold the prize until satisfactory verification is provided.
5. The Domain Name Money-Back Guarantee is valid for three (3) calendar days from the date of payment. Refunds will be issued solely in the form of Exabytes credits and are not convertible to cash.
6. Domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis. Submission of an order and payment does not guarantee successful registration. Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of a successful registration confirmation email from Exabytes.
7. This promotion is not applicable for the registration or purchase of:
  1. Premium Domains, Pragmatic Domains, Premium Numeric Domains, or Registry Reserved Names; or
  2. Domains containing names or characters deemed sensitive, obscene, scandalous, indecent, offensive, or otherwise contrary to Malaysian public norms, decency, or laws. Exabytes reserves the right to cancel any orders involving such domains.
8. Premium Domains are excluded from any discount. Exabytes reserves the right to reject registration of such domains or request additional payment as required.
9. Exabytes reserves the absolute right to modify, amend, or supplement these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice or liability. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of such changes.
10. The exclusive prize winner(s) will be announced by MYNIC. Prize collection will be conducted in accordance with MYNIC’s official campaign procedures and within the designated campaign period, as set out on MYNIC’s official page at https://mynic.my/media/announcements/revup-register-campaign-30-1.
11. MYNIC is solely responsible for conducting the campaign, selecting and announcing winners, and managing prize fulfilment. Exabytes’ role is limited to promoting the campaign and offering special domain pricing. To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Exabytes shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, or disputes arising from the Campaign, including, without limitation, the selection of winners, announcement, or prize fulfilment. Any questions, complaints, or disputes regarding the campaign or prizes must be directed to MYNIC.
Use of Personal Data
By participating in the Campaign, each Eligible Participant consents to the Organiser collecting, using, and processing their personal data for purposes directly related to the Campaign, including verification of entries, winner selection, prize fulfilment, announcements, and related communications, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA 2010”) and the Organiser’s Privacy Notice. Participants also agree that the Organiser may use their name, image, and likeness in any media for marketing, advertising, and publicity connected with the Campaign, without further notice or compensation, while retaining all rights under the PDPA 2010, including the right to access and correct their personal data. The Organiser will not access Participants’ personal account or payment information, and all personal data collected will be used solely for administering the Campaign.
Intellectual Property
1. Eligible Participants retain ownership of content they submit (e.g., photos, videos, reviews). By participating, Eligible Participants grant the Organiser and Exabytes a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use their submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes.
2. All Organiser or Exabytes’-owned content, including campaign materials, logos, and branding, remain the property of the Organiser and Exabytes and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
General
1. Participation in the Campaign means acceptance of these Campaign T&C.
2. MYNIC and Exabytes reserves the right, at its sole discretion and in accordance with applicable Malaysian laws, to amend, suspend, or terminate the Campaign and/or these Campaign T&C at any time without prior notice, including, but not limited to, ending the Campaign earlier than the stated expiry date, extending the Campaign period, or modifying, suspending, or amending these Campaign T&C, provided that such changes are approved in accordance with MYNIC’s internal procedures. MYNIC shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such amendments, suspension, or termination.
3. These Campaign T&C are governed by the laws of Malaysia, any disputes should first be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes are governed by Malaysian law and the courts of Malaysia.
